Heard ppl say is dangerously racially divided. If the only third spaces u use are bars and cafes you might think that. But the library, cinema, leisure centre, even supermarket are richly, wonderfully shared. What nightlife & drinking divide, facilities seem to reunite

I laugh similarly-in sheer *disbelief*-at the million pound price tags for the terraced properties in bloody **!!!of the kind I lived in as a child(no bath/outside toilet..we had to walk half a mile to Camberwell public Baths for our weekly bath)

The ‘Railway Quarter’ was excellent habitat until the Council replaced the grasses, nettles and thistles - great for insects - with a hedge to screen the railway. Hedges are good of course but this one has replaced more diverse habitat for insects.
