We had the pleasure to visit The Safety Patrol students at Frontier Elementary School. To our surprise, they wanted to celebrate us on with a gift basket and cards thanking us for our service. Your appreciation at such a young age makes our job so much rewarding!

42) & 2nd - perfect opportunity to have students practice the skills of a historian by conducting an oral interview of a parent,/aunt,/uncle/grandparent/neighbor, etc. For many of our students, their parents weren't in the US in 2001. Powerful !
