adopter Cheryl texted this photo to me today. 🥰 This is Mandee, a super sweet, super tame & much beloved “dove release” type Homer pigeon we rescued at in 2010. Having a rescued pigeon in your life is truly magical.

Ada birb stepped up onto my hand after she finished the Snick-snacks! She's getting so cozy. I love her!

Forgot to mention the white mask uses feathers from my pet doves that they've left around the room and cage!

Contact or try to find a bird rehabber. Does the bird have identification bands on its legs? It may have been a "pet" and be out of place (kept birds don't always adapt in public, happens w dove releases etc) or it could be asking for help and feel threatened
