I have PTSD. It’s not always super fun being my friend. I guess that’s why I have so few. But when I overcome this shit and become rich and famous the ones who weren’t patient with me are gonna regret it.

Some folks call me selfish but those are usually the folks who fail to see how bad my trauma has affected my life. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t just “get over it”.

The strangest part of PTSD is that the victim may seek out similar situations over and over, as the adrenocorticotropic hormone release feels comforting and familiar, and may even temporarily soothe their anxiety of the unknown.
