2 multimillion-dollar loans to Irving company forgiven by ACOA That’s ok. Our just keeps trading cash for votes. In this case - $7.4 million in exchange for a few dozen Irving family votes. Seems like a lot.

So says he doesn’t “back down” to Chinese bullying. Does not backing down include giving up a $43 billion LNG project in Prince Rupert, BC, that permits Chinese steel dumping, effectively shutting out Canadian trades and steel manufacturers?

They know they’re badly wounded here & that the 9 witnesses they suppressed would likely offer testimony that would be the coup de gras of their electoral fortunes. If they don’t form a majority on October 21, would expect that without the ability to block, will be exposed

This really makes sense. Up there with giving Loblaws $12 million for refrigerators. Should we add this to increasing the pre-election goody tab with $20 billion dollars in pledges over the summer (so far)? This is just throwing money away.

Pulling such a cheap stunt -- at Le Grand Tintamarre, a high point of National Acadian Day -- then boasting about it on Twitter is not only gauche, it's lacking in self-awareness, Andrew. You took the low road, refused to join you.

Here's another former Liberal chiding Justin Trudeau unethical behavior, saying "[] doesn't have the decency to admit [the wrongs] and step aside. So the last possible option - democracy." On Oct 21, 2019 !!

just forgave a loan to the Irving family! On the principle that it would likely not be repaid ... It is the Irving family! 7.4 million is likely what is lost in their couches at home.

Political chill aside lays it out clearly. My sense is that if the Libs fail to form a majority, a new Parliamentary committee, in which opposition has majority, will pry open what has tried to suppress by refusing waivers and trigger an election in short order
