UK has 30 million people in work so ’s 4 day working week for all means Britain will lose 20% of it’s productivity (30m x20%) so 6 million extra workers will be needed just to stand still! & mass forever! Economic genius!

A perk of being the offspring of an elected member of the ruling class: no qualifications needed to make a boatload of money. Meanwhile, these same elected "public servants" support that drive down wages & make it more difficult for American STEM grads to find jobs.

This piece on is great (it's a good snippet from the book), but honestly the subhead is succinct and spot on: "immigration is like free trade." Products can (and should) cross borders with impunity. So should labor.
