This year's harks back to when my love affair with Islay began: the peat was thick, tarry&sweet and flavours felt like pulling me deep into Hebridean seas. But this dram is also composed, complex, confident&cool. More a sherry pet than a monster.

A different take on - the 2.2 Orpheus. Aged just 5 years, but incredibly complex & delicious, even when peated at 140 ppm! At 61% abv, this one is a beast!
