Back to school night was a blast! My students who are looping with me to 2nd grade were welcomed back by letters they wrote to themselves last year in 1st grade. I’m so excited to be reunited with my little family!

Our first, proud friend to earn the new special job, for awesome work during morning academic groups today! He was super excited to feed Herman, and Herman was equally excited (especially after the long weekend)

4th grade was working on backwards rounding and did a fantastic job! I let each of them take part of the problem so we could collaborate to come up with the answer!

How do we review our first reading common unit assessment in room 205?...We set the mood, we brain break with a word search, Gonoodle fun, and watch a story online 😁 as we strengthen our reading strategies/skills 👍🏻

We learned expanded notation today and it was tricky. The students collaborated together to solve problems while I took a hands-off approach! They did fantastic working together to solve the problem and didn’t even ask me for help!

We added some kindness sprinkles to our very own donuts today and we even had a sweet treat to enjoy after talking about ways to be kind!
