By increasing the size of his cabinet by 25%. Premier Doug Ford also increases the cost to taxpayers: ministers get paid $165,780/yr, about $49K more than backbench MPPs. His 7 new ministers/associate ministers will also have to hire more staff.

Doug Ford promised smaller government, lower spending, no job loses. After a year: bigger government, increased spending (while slashing revenues), thousands of job surpluses & lay offs. Not only a bad Premier, Doug Ford is a bad Conservative.

Doug Ford and Lisa MacLeod cancelled Canada Day – a week before the event. But you can’t just cancel dozens of performers, a full crew, staging, AV, and catering. They will still get paid. You are paying for it... but you can’t go. Canada Day at Queen’s Park.

How many Ford, French, PC insiders and friends have gotten high paid insider jobs while families with autism, schools, social services, legal aid and environmental protections have all gotten cut? This is a government for the friends of Ford and French, not the people.
