At the Avalon Pier in Kill Devil Hills, they are having a “hurricane party.” One man told me they will hunker down tonight when the worst of the storm arrives. The threat of flooding is the top concern for these folks

just miles offshore & I find these fools on live cam out on in . Not only do they duck under the barrier, but climb up on a bench in 80+ mph winds to take pics. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Prayers to all those in its path (even these two clowns)!

Live Update from Kitty Hawk, Southern Shores. So far so good. Has just been like a really long thunder storm. Wind & sporadic rain. No long hard rain falls. High tides at times but nothing has breached the dunes. I have seen no damage to any houses or surrounding areas.

If you are located on the northern SC coast or of North Carolina especially area. You need to be leaving ASAP. isn’t going to be “just another storm”...if you have friends/family in the area considering staying please urge them to reconsider.
