If the killers of Sana Cheema, namely her father and brother, have NOT been held resposible for her murder, it means that A LOT of work must be done by feminist NGOs, both in Italy and Pakistan, as our italian lawyers have remained silent over such an issue.

We now live in a country where we will now have to differentiate between the mass shooting in Aurora, CO and the one in Aurora, IL.

So in addition to the daily shootings in Chicago, now a mass shooting down the road !? The police responded DURING the tragedy, but how come they were not allowed (or required?) to intervene BEFORE when he was supposed to turn in his gun?

Gun violence doesn’t happen to just Parkland or Aurora. It happens everyday often in communities that get no attention from the media. Their lives are every bit as valuable. Time to pass an assault weapons ban and get weapons of war off our streets.

Bravo! I will only support our local leaders if they get tough on guns and implement common sense gun control now!

There is literally NO excuse for this. None!! Taxi, Uber, walk, spend the night .. or stay sober. Even if you don’t kill someone or yourself, even if you’re not convicted - an impaired charge could still cost $10,000, your relationship and more.

How about the next impaired driver be forced to play Russian roulette with a loaded gun. Every day. Because that’s what they’re doing on the roads every time they drink and drive. I’m sick of good people dying and those at fault surviving.

After YEARS of Republican inaction, my colleagues and I will vote on two commonsense gun bills to expand background checks next week. It's past time to stop talking and start taking a stand.
