Here’s a new instalment to my (army style). My focus was on without splint (ok, I used my stick). Such concentration has an impact though with my day off being consumed by and sleep - so frustrating!

It’s a rubbish time of year for all strokies and as an ex teacher with trauma induced stroke I understand how you feel. You will bounce back cos it’s in you not to give up. Stroke is about ups and downs. Getting up again is how we improve.

It’s inspirational. I loved the message about how to deal with people who tell you your prospects for recovery are no good: “It’s not up to them to determine how it will be for you. They don’t know you. It’s best not to listen and to make up your own story.”

Exbike challenge Sofia to Istanbul timeline in complete confusion because of sore knee and birth of 3rd grandson! Pretty good reasons but I have to get back on track soon
