Thank you to ⁦⁩ for sharing your concerns. School boards are not fear mongering. The cuts made to education pose a real threat to the availability of elective courses in Peel and overall student success.

These are absolutely disgusting comments from someone who should not be in the position he's in within the Ministry of Education. [thread]

The PC government wants to cut our world-class education system and education workers say because every student is worth Ontario's investment.

Canada ranks #5 in the world for teaching skills for the future, yet repeatedly states that they’re “modernizing”education with all of these cuts. Looks like we were already on the right track, & that these cuts will likely have the opposite effect.

62.5 surplus notices rescinded &rest will be “absorbed into the system”. It’s not exactly clear how this happened, but what is clear is that the govt is playing games. It’s not nice to play w peoples’ lives. Damage done; we won’t forget & aren’t backing down.

Wise words from Benjamin Franklin, one of the founding fathers of USA. Accordingly, and should invest MORE into Ontario’s education rather than making cuts, increasing class sizes, reducing teachers, and mandating e-learning!!! 😡😡

Why do our students have to "do their part"? When in history have children had to "do their part"? A despicable answer from defending gov'ts cuts to education. Our students should not have the ability to make choices taken from them

What a surprise that wasn’t in his office to discuss his government’s cuts to education at the rally in Elmira today. Maybe next time, Mike?

says a lot of things that don't make sense (ex: moose being hit by cars on hwy 11)! We need to continue to monitor the words that come out of his mouth so we can properly defend our education system!

This makes me incredibly sad to see my former high school posting about enrolment numbers for next year. It is putting the music program at risk. Music education has changed my life and I would hate to see it be cut SJCHS.

It doesn't make sense; surely you can see this! Are you actually representing the interests of your constituents? There will be less teachers in schools, and fewer courses. This is not ok!

I don’t want to have to wear this button, and I want my MPP to support our schools with a budget that restores services, jobs, and classes. Thanks to for your advocacy work on behalf of the teachers that give our kids so much.
