If members of Congress don't do their jobs, they shouldn't get paid. Proud to once again sponsor .

Since taking office I have been working to MAKE WASHINGTON WORK for all Americans. I’ve proposed: ☑️ ☑️ Term Limits ☑️ End Congressional Pensions ☑️ Ban Members of Congress from Lobbying RT 🔁 if you agree & stay tuned.. there’s more to come!

The House has now voted 10 times to end the shutdown. It’s now up to the Senate. It’s time to reopen the government and get people back to work. My bill would stop members from being paid if they don’t do their jobs and fix this shutdown problem for good.

Max Rose, Nancy Pelosi & the other Democrats criticized President’s Budget then left for vacation without proposing their own spending plan, as is customary. If you see Max around during his 2 week vacation, ask him why he isn’t in Washington doing his job.

Let's not forget how Congress got to this point; Democrats have prevented appropriations bills from receiving a vote, which is why we are in this position today. That’s why I have repeatedly introduced my bill. Don't shut down the government, do your job.

Replying to @ByronStateRepPA
wants governing focused on local issues. We work hard to get paid. The same should be true of those in govt. Byron's standard for PA Congress prioritizes families above special interests & donors.

We should've had a budget last fall. Instead we got a tax scam that doesn't help you or me. Now it's January: no budget, no CHIP renewal, no DACA. Why does Congress get paid when it doesn't do its job?

It’s good the government will reopen so people can get paid and back to work. But Congress still has a job to do to make sure this doesn’t happen again in three weeks. We need to find a sensible solution so that shutdowns never happen.

No question about it - if members of Congress can’t do their job and pass a budget, they should NOT be paid. That’s why I’m fighting for the Act.

Shutdown Day 3: Federal employees are not getting paid. Except if you are Congress, cause they get paid even during a shutdown.

Period. That's how the private sector works. And then members of can see what it's like to live without income to afford their A++ Maybe if the govt was privatized, things might actually get done!

Yesterday we made great strides to make Washington work for all Americans! My amendment passed in the Homeland Security & Government Affairs Committee. I hope all my colleagues will join me in this common-sense idea as it reaches the Senate floor.

It's time for Congress to do its job. That means listening to YOU and working hard to solve problems. I will hold town halls in every county in the district and fight for commonsense solutions like to hold Congress accountable.
