Great finish to the ! Desisa pulled away from Kamworor in final 2km but Kitata was closing fast in 3rd & caught Desisa in the final 500m! Desisa held on to finally win. Mary Keitany destroyed the womenโ€™s field with Vivian Cheruiyot 2nd & Shalane Flanagan 3rd.

My first full marathon and first NYC Marathon and had a blast. The most memorable part was the people cheering at the streets with excitement from Mike 1 to 26.1. Definitely energy giving. Always love NY. Don't change New Yorkers. Thanks.
