“Show Yourself” is a anthem I stg. Every time I listen to it it’s like discovering my ADHD all over again, and that feeling of relief on realizing I’m not broken, I’m just not neurotypical. “I have always been so different / Normal rules did not apply” 😭

Do other and/or anxious folks do that thing where you are caught unawares by a social situation/request & go into survival mode: extreme polite/agreeable, & end up agreeing to something you absolutely did not want to do but did not have the script ready to say no?
