This day has always been hard for me. It changed my life forever by defining it as before 9/11 and after. I don’t know the person I was back then anymore. Please know you are never alone, there is always hope & we will never forget. ❤️✌️

As dark as the tunnel seems. And it can seem pretty black. Believe it or not there is a light at the end of your tunnel. Just hang in there. This too shall pass.

If you need help : Ask. If you know someone who is struggling : Reach Out. You never know what someone is going through : Be Kind. Most importantly, know that you matter, that you are loved + that ‘Tomorrow Needs You’☀️ pc

my step-mom took her own life over a year ago and I still don’t understand. I still have so many mixed emotions. Please remind your loved ones that they’re important, worthy, and not alone. Don’t let them go to bed upset.

This is such an important quote. On , I'm reminded that perfectionism makes us fall prey to unrealistic standards, which puts us at risk for depression when we inevitably fall short. No one on is perfect, but they - and we - are enough.

I first attempted suicide at 15. A year later I lost one of the best people I’ve ever known to suicide. Even though the pain feels unbearable, it’s worth sticking around to see the sunrise. You couldn’t possibly know how much you mean to me. 🧡
