Forgiveness. The only thing I just can’t accept. Why would I forgive a person who used and abused me? Yup, he’s still a giant asshole!

My kids’ covert abusive dad just convinced another social worker that he is the victim. Every time this happens he is more empowered and their PTSD symptoms get worse. I’m livid right now.

If you are a victim of narcissistic abuse, you must understand that healing is a very personal process. Like all progress, healing is not linear (healing does not simply move in a straight line), therefore it should never come with a deadline or time-frame.

For 28 years he walked in front of me. I tried to walk faster but he would speed up. If I wore heels he would sometimes stop, look back, and sigh bc I was moving too slow. I ignored an obvious red flag.

This. It took me years to admit to being really unhappy with the ex. No matter what I did, it was never good enough. My marriage nearly destroyed me. I lost myself. It was not love.

Son, 13, calling frm sociopathic dad’s crying, says having “the thought,” fear of me dying, doesn’t know what he’d do without me. I reassure him that I’m here. I ask ?s. Learned dad is threatening he must “throw away” 2 bags of toys or no Christmas gifts.
