This is the biggest victory yet. Competitive primaries are good for democracy.

It's a very, very big deal that Dem insurgents are going to knock off six or seven state senators. Cuomo is the headline, but the caucus that kept the GOP in control of the state senate has been decapitated.

Andrew Cuomo won the New York democrat primary for governor. This means that the Hillary/Obama establishment still has a stranglehold on the democrat party & the Bernie Sanders crew is getting screwed again.

Bottom line about tonight's . Non-white voters are the heart, backbone and soul of our party. If you aren't spending time, sweat and money asking for non-white voters' support -- you will lose a Democratic primary. And you should.

The lesson from the seems to be that we can elect men whose only qualification is being famous but we’ll cast aspersions on the woman for the same thing, even when that woman is far more qualified than the men she’s being compared to... Again.

A really key thing about : she got outspent by 10:1 against a sitting Gov with high approval ratings + the best family name in NY politics. Still, she captured 35% + boosted a progressive wave down ballot. Everyone on this team should be very proud.

Andrew Cuomo spent 25 MILLION to KEEP his seat. Barely a win. The real winner last night was the insurgent left— routing 7 powerful incumbents & replacing them with deep blue progressives without corporate $. That’s 🔥🔥🔥🔥.

Not to brag, but someone from Zellnor’s team told me that and Persist 81 held the first fundraiser for way back in December. We just know how to pick the winners!

To vote in for Gov, u had to register as a Dem in Oct. 2017-5 months before announced run & 11 months b4 primary. The arcane deadline is meant to suppress new PROGRESSIVE voters who may want 2 vote for a Nixon type, but would be blocked from doing so...
