15 years. That’s a quarter of Roy Brown’s life. He deserved better - and we deserve a criminal justice system that is centered on justice. In Congress, I’ll champion common-sense reforms from groups like . In CNY, I’ll continue to stand up for your rights.

Just a friendly reminder that it doesn’t matter how much 💰 you raise, how many wealthy donors you know, or your family’s last name. What matters: 🤜What have you fought for? 🤜Why are you fighting? 🤜How are you going to win? People deserve better than politics-as-usual.

Thank you to the editorial board. If the GOP - especially our own - won't stand up, it's time for a new member of Congress who will.

A lot of great energy last night at the Skaneateles Democratic Committee. I was excited to see the committee nominate Chris Legg for Town Councilor. Chris is a Skaneateles native, a fellow Navy veteran, and taught at the Naval Academy during my time at Annapolis.

Lively conversation in Camillus at our 2nd Conole On Your Corner this morning. One issue we talked about is health care. I firmly believe health care is a fundamental right, and everyone should have access to quality, affordable health care in our country.

U.S. Rep. John Katko is the first of the candidates to submit a July quarterly filing. He raised $521K — $309K from PACs/other committees, $138K from individuals and $73K in transfers from authorized committees (he has a joint fundraising committee).

Rep. John Katko: He was the top fundraiser in this quarter. It's clear GOP leadership, as they have in the past two elections, want to retain this seat. McCarthy and Scalise chipped in to help. Other House GOP members gave. They know this is going to be a competitive race.

The Committee also showed its support of Susan Scheuerman, one of our great candidates for County Legislator. Together we can ensure these amazing candidates are elected in 2019!

This is divisive, disgusting, racist, and another attempt by Trump to drive our country apart. The American values I fought for are exemplified in our Democratic freshman members of Congress. Can’t say the same about our President.

Irene is running to represent the people of Camillus, Onondaga, & the Onondaga Nation Territory in District 11. She’s hosting a fundraiser at Red Hawk Brewing tonight, and I hope everyone will stop by & support a good, local candidate. Go Irene!

I grew up Catholic, believing that faith is both words & works. It’s why I‘m reminded of Leviticus 19:34: “The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt.” Any questions?

Just wrote a campaign finance roundup, but I'll have individual candidate analysis of their fundraising quarters. With four candidates in the race, thought it was important to go into more detail about where they are getting their money from.

. boasts that it raised more from individual donors than U.S. Rep. John Katko's campaign. Misso's campaign mentioned this earlier in the month, but we're still waiting on that FEC filing to confirm.

Why did it take so long to give such a weak response? He had to wait for his talking points. This is Comms Hack Mad Libs: 'far-left' 'socialist' 'wrong' A workshopped response free of thought, fit only of an empty suit. He didn't write a word of this.

This is exactly why we released a plan to combat lakeshore flooding - communities shouldn’t be forced to compete for $ to stay safe. I am calling for an additional $900M in federal funds - directly to affected property & business owners.
