The DHET decided to pay the debt for Nsfas funded current students. What about those graduates whose qualifications are withheld by universities because of historical debt and those students who dropped out because they couldn't register? Why are they being left out?

Nsfas using the copy and paste method to reject all those who applied early and were on "accessing financial eligibility" . The system is corrupt i tell you.

to think i uploaded a sassa Letter stating that my father is a pensioner earning R1650 per month..and my mother is unemployed And even with that my Status is rejected because of the reason that my parents earn more than R350k p/a I'm disappointed

I don't think they are aware that it not NSFAS continuing students that are more in debt instead it the Missing middle students that don't qualify for NSFAS that are drowining in debt for years.Minister Pandor needs to also look into missing middle!!!

How is it that all those who applied late got accepted and all those who applied early get rejected for no valid reason in December. No apologies from Nsfas whatsoever. Then face rejection again. . We need answers!!

I am a medical student who holds a Honours degree, never used NSFAS in my previous degree and cant use it now when i need it most because “not high priority” 😑 i owe the university over R150k and i am still only in 2nd year. 😰
