There has been a robbery and Year 4’s books are missing. Who did it? Hopefully this will encourage some exciting newspaper report writing.

Finally got around to finishing National 5 Graphic’s Desktop Publishing interactive image revision. Each button shows you what technique, element or principle has been used and a description. The 6 posters covers what they will need to know ☺️

Are you even a proper teacher until you set your school alarm off because your caretaker didn’t realise you were still here and locked the school? Happy Wednesday everyone 😂

When students can’t read, we teach them. When students cant write, we guide them. When students can’t self regulate and handle big emotions, they get punished. Real skill in is not seeing the behaviour, but reading the intent behind it.

All students do GCSE languages at my school. GCSE classes are all mixed and the ability range in a few or my classes is huge... Has anyone had experience with this and have suggestions or techniques that have worked well?

Sometimes it’s just REALLY hard to check in with every child in my class. Decided to implement this in the classroom so children can book in time to have a ‘natter’ about something they want me to know about interests/hobbies. This will ensure EVERY child is heard👍

I'm having another observation next week. My chance to make up for the truly awful one I had a few weeks ago. Already feeling very stressed. If I can't prove myself this time I really need to think about an alternative career.

Really struggling with a y9 class. Following behaviour policy, phoning home, using rewards, but always talking, up and walking around, minimal work, rude and disrespectful to me. Reaching that stage where I dread teaching them. Any ideas for anything I could try?
