An above inflation pay rise did you say? As a band 8 nurse my pay has not been considered for the last 10 years!! It has actually reduced by over 20% in that time given inflation! How is that equality ?

NHS staff are absolutely brilliant but have suffered a pay freeze, under-funding and under-staffing. My support to all of our wonderful NHS workers campaigning for a pay rise this weekend.

Nurses have endured their pay, terms and conditions being driven down for years. Enough is enough. We won’t stop organising and campaigning until Ministers do the right thing. ✊ 📢📢

Clapping won’t pay the bills or put food on the table of our nurses who are sinking into poverty. The Government need to give them what they really need: a fair and decent pay rise. And we will fight until they do.

I’m truly baffled by no comment by our leader on the Why is that? They were there when we needed them. He was clapping away with Boris Johnson only few months back. Is this about Nothing To Say Now?

NHS workers can't live off applause. Solidarity with all those protesting today to demand a 15% pay rise for NHS workers, who have faced a 20% pay cut in real terms since 2010.

We know the price that NHS and care staff have paid to keep the country going. Now we must stand shoulder to shoulder with NHS and care workers and demand that they receive the pay rise they so thoroughly and urgently deserve.
