Just a few awesome snaps from our Christmas Concert last week. What a night it was! The largest amount of pupils ever seen performing at one concert with a completely packed out audience. We couldn’t be prouder! (Photos by Cross Visuals)

Remember that every minute of a concert requires hours of rehearsing, days of preparation, weeks of planning, months of training and years of practice.

It’s really difficult to truly take in and enjoy how successful an event is when you’re in the middle of it and are performing in about 75% of the items, but I’m now able to take a step back and realise exactly what our pupils managed to achieve. Wow.

Don't expect music teachers to put on a fabulous show if they are not given time to rehearse. Practice Practice Practice We may be probably the most awesome teachers in the world, but even we can't work miracles. Practice Practice Practice

This is Fern’s story. Fern’s mum got in touch to tell us about what a difference playing in a band has made to her. It’s even had a positive effect on her rehabilitation after an accident! What an amazing result.

There are moments that make you proud to be a teacher. And this is one! This is how my year 9s left the studio after our drum mics lesson!! My constant nagging of cleaning up has paid off 😂😂
