New Lanark is a living and working village, from our historic textile machinery powered by the River Clyde, to our workers and villagers; we are more than our archives, we are the sum of every worker, villager, and visitor to New Lanark.

for this guy. He loves them! And he insists he were his special T-shirt every time we visit one, and tells the staff that “museums are awesome!” and they all chuckle. Also he claims is “his” museum - he 100% loves it most of all.

The first time I came to the , I had just arrived in Oxford for my MSc in 2010. It was for a Late Night event and it was magical. Almost 9 years later, I work here and I get to marvel at the magic from behind the scenes!
