Soz i've been a bit quiet this week. We've been down to to help them out with their storage project. Just the kind of work we love as its like hunting for treasure. Lovely to see natural history objects and help ID everything.

Great to catch up on lively chat. Exhibition visit + tea + cake + in person catch up = always a good idea! and any other museum freelancers, let me know if you fancy sometime.

Just got a paper cheque in the post to pay me (3 weeks late) for some work I've done for a big university. The paperwork advises me that "as from August 2006" they have a new VAT number. In 5 years of freelancing, never been paid by cheque. Anyone else?
