Expect hill station like weather in Mumbai for the next few days ... weak system in Odisha now and then cyclone noul, which is near Thailand now, moving in Bay of Bengal is the reason for the drizzling we are seeing. Don’t see heavy rains as of now

Mumbai rains still tricky to predict but chances of heavy rains have increased. As of today, I give a 35% chance of heavy rains. Vortex will travel north but still uncertainty as to how far it will move north. If reaches brace for very heavy rains.

Mumbai Rains Sep 17
Mumbai will get some brief showers rest of this week but mostly will be dry. Moderate increase in rains likely next week. East-west shear zone runs from South Konkan to Andhra so all the rains in that zone. Had it been bit north Mumbai would have got heavy rains.
