Miss Marple was named after a railway station in Marple, on Manchester to Sheffield Hope Valley line, at which Agatha Christie's train was once delayed! 🕵️‍♀️

Okay... so parts of Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves could be a bit scary for a five yrs old, mainly the witch who is actually now (never realised that) but still steals the show, forgot how brilliant he was as the sheriff

A lovely doll is travelling to me from Russia. She is based on Joan Hickson’s beautiful portrayal. I cannot wait for her to meet the Poirot doll, based on David Suchet, made by the same artist!
