I work at Wendy’s where the minimum wage for fast food is increasing by $1 every year. As much as I love the pay raise, the prices increase within the restaurant, and the employees get fewer work hours as well. What do you think?

Policies like a structural (2/3 GNI/C, would be $19.57 in 2017), an American Citizen's Dividend (makes Social Security solvent forever, and is massive for income equity—probably ends poverty and recessions), and real criminal justice reforms are seen as radical left.

I've been called a corporate shill and a centrist for: - Universal healthcare policies similar to Australia's (it's not single-payer) - Fair Corporate Income Tax (taxes Apple and Google 48%; taxes Walmart around 12%) Meanwhile the progressives want a weak .🤷‍♂️

An hour of my life is worth far more than $7.25-$15! Specially with the cost of living! We NEED a maximum wage to force a trickle down! No one is sharing!

This is BLOODY ridiculous! Who can live on this??? I need South African to stop acting like is something one can live on. It’s honestly exploitative. Following the law doesn’t mean you’re ethical. Something inside you should BREAK when you’re paying someone R25 p/h

The Fed of $7.25 hasn't gone up in over a decade - a new record. Working people don’t only deserve an increase; they need it. That's why Betty is cosponsoring the Act, guaranteeing $15/hour for all & indexing for inflation.
