I think today has been a turning point for me. After 6 weeks in hospital I feel like I'm ready to start making progress. Tomorrow I'm going to go to the shop on my own. Time to get better. The fight is on.

I've achieved many things in my life but right now I feel my biggest achievement was just walking to the shop on my own. I got there and back safely. Feel pretty emotional mixed with a panicking feeling.

Today, I finally plucked up the courage to go to my dr about my mental health and I wish I’d done it sooner. She was so calm, understanding and even thanked me for going as most men do what I did and try to ignore it. Please seek help, there are some great people

No feeling worse than feeling vulnerable, unsupported and alone. A feeling I know all too well. I hope people start to listen and take significant action. Our mental health services are not adequate to support those in need of help. It must change.

Someone told me today to cheer up. I replied with a No. I am entitled to fully embrace any way I feel at any given moment and process my valid feelings in my own timing and at my own pace. This is healthy and mine to own.

This is my brother Dharampal Singh. He suffers from serious issues but won't fund further treatment even thought he has been at for 18months without any progress!! That's 18months !!!
