You should never feel ashamed or embarrassed when reaching out for help with a mental illness or addiction. Be proud of the courage it takes and know that you are brave and supported.

Thank you to all the outlets that have helped me share my story recently👊🏻 If your suffering, having bad thoughts or anything... please reach out and speak to someone. Sometimes the worst place you can be is alone in your own head. 🙏🏻 📸:

The routine of my life on a psych ward, 10 weeks in. 6am, wake & coffee. 8am b/fast. 8.30 meds. 10, tea. 12, lunch, 2pm, tea. 5pm, dinner. 8pm, tea. 10pm, meds & bed & a glorious sleeping pill induced sleep. All troubled thinking extinguished.

Sunday night our OFC spent quite a long time talking to a suicidal male with military triggered PTSD down from a bridge where he was in real danger of falling. We are pleased to report he is now getting the help he needs.

Saw the Doctor today. He's pleased with me and what I'm doing; cycling running, leaning on a support network. Review in a month. Doesn't think I need the referral for further help because he thinks I've got a handle on it myself. Keep doing what I'm doing.
