Stop judging women who didn’t report sexual abuse. Stop blaming women who were raped. Stop shaming women for assaults they didn’t choose. Stop demanding they get over it. Stop silencing sexual abuse victims. All responsibility is on predators who are to blame.

How can journalist E. Jean Carroll be brushed away as just one more? In the era of and this having nothing to do with anything consensual at any point? This is the most extreme accusation we've had against this President and it has had almost no impact on our dialogue.

The worst of my abuse was perpetrated in the 80s. I came forward in 2014. The perpetrator is in prison b/c of my disclosure Instead of asking why women wait so long to come forward, ask why abusers perpetrate & inflict that kind of trauma in the first place

I’m finding it quite disturbing the number of Tory loyalists who defend male aggression, first by Mark Field and now by Boris Johnson I think this tells you quite a lot about the party and why it’s been such an abysmal government

Both true: 1. Men have spent millennia raping with no social & legal consequences. The movement was vital to empower women to speak up & demand that society listen. 2. Civilization requires the presumption of innocence, even with society's lower burden of proof.
