It wasn’t so long ago, that they were opening stores all over the place, is it too late for quality over quantity?

M&S has always been for ‘older’ people. Reminds me of the anguish I’d feel when forced to go shopping with Nan. I hated M&S. C&A was another peeve. Close em all!! &S

Not surprising that is in difficulty. An expensive advert on TV saying it took their chefs 1 year to make the perfect . Bloody hell I can make the ‘perfect’ burger in 5 minutes. If it took a year to come up with what’s it going to cost £100 per burger😱

tired of hearing about shops complaining about having to close stores. I want to shop in store but are told by the stores I have wider choice online. Why? I want to try clothes on in-store NOT online! Help me to help you.

Also goods are very overpriced particularly the clothes, why buy from there when you can walk 2 minutes further along the road to ? Finishing off on clothes has been very poor too for quite some years since they moved to overseas manufacturers

...M&S went wrong when it left clothing for the over 40s behind, back in 1998 to compete with Next etc., a market that is already saturated. Quality and style used to be good.
