The historic Shankracharya Temple of Srinagar, Kashmir over the Zabarwan Range has been illuminated on or as Kashmiri Pandits call Herath. It looks so beautiful. I visit the abode of Lord Shiva every time I am in Kashmir. There is a feeling of calm one gets there.

Lots of Janapada or folk performances. It is hard to perform at 4 AM in chilly breeze.. But they performed very well, helping Shiva bhaktas complete jagarane. Thanks Jayanagar Utsava!

How is jagaran going on? We have already covered 10 temples and AoL ashram so far. Blissful night with fasting and puja. Still five hours to go, and lots of temples waiting.
