8:00PM: Spotty storms continue at this hour, with some downward trend in coverage as we lose sunshine. Strongest storms currently are over Slidell and north along I-59 south of Lumberton,MS. Still expect gusty winds and torrential rainfall in these areas.

7:35pm: A lot of noisy 🔊 storms on radar with A LOT of lightning ⚡ and heavy rain 💧. There is nothing bad with these storms, their bark is worse than their bite.

You can tell where it's rained today and where it hasn't! Temperatures in our area mostly in the 70s and 80s down from 90s earlier. Scattered thunderstorms continue for a few more hours.

5:10PM: Scattered showers and thunderstorms continue late this afternoon ⛈ some of the stronger storms have been producing wind gusts around 30mph and may contain small, pea sized hail. Additionally, torrential rainfall may cause ponding on roadways if traveling.
