Two years ago today EgyptAir - Airbus A320 SU-GCC - crashed into the Mediterranean Sea while en-route from Paris CDG to Cairo. All 56 passengers and 10 crew were killed. The cause is still unclear.

Egypt authorities after 2 years now seem to confirm that Egyptair crashed as a result of a fire in or near the cockpit. Earlier Egypt stated terrorism was the cause.
