At Matt Chandler said that "white fools" become discombobulated & withdraw when presented with data about racism. Yet when I took data about police brutality into his office he said he wasn't interested & that there are "lies, damn lies & statistics". Guess he was right.

April 12, 1963: On this day, ministers Fred Shuttlesworth, Ralph Abernathy, and Martin Luther King Jr. were arrested for "parading without a permit" in downtown Birmingham. It was Good Friday. After this arrest, MLK would pen his famous "Letter from Birmingham Jail."

White privilege at its finest...Meanwhile Meek is still in jail with no bond ..btw HE HAS NO MURDER CHARGE. Also the fact that this man is still alive just goes to show that Black people aren’t valued or wanted in this country. WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE?
