It's quite mystifying to most of the independent journalists I've spoken to that the failure of a project funded from the BBC licence fee is being so under-reported in the mainstream media and is being allowed to continue.

After I spoke personally with an NTSB official, News10 reported on Thursday night there is still no deal between Schoharie DA/NTSB. So proud of all our local stations for keeping this story in the news no matter how small the update!

It made me wonder how common this is: to consider yourself a keen supporter of the role of the news and its social/democratic value but feel no need to contribute to its creation and sustainability. Thoughts welcome!
