This is history. This is Catalonia. This is what fighting for freedom looks like. We will be free, it's just a matter of time, make no mistake about it. Anem a guanyar, no hi ha més. I fotrem una victòria eixordadora.

Today marks 11 months imprisonment for Jordi Sànchez and Jordi Cuixart, Catalan activists. Incarcerated without trial on charges no other European country has recognised. Sad and shameful for all. Please don’t remain silent.

Lawyers like are sometimes all that stand between the power of a state and the people, this is why Spain see Boye as a threat and why internationally bar associations ⚖️ everywhere must support him on principle 🎗

Indeed MEP , ensuring the respect of the rule of law in all Member States is a European concern. Thanks for explaining that there are currently political prisoners in Spain, like former MEP

We got to section 0 by Metro after all, ! Spent much of the day being thanked by Catalan people for coming here and supporting them. A real privilege and honour for us - such a powerful, moving experience. Safe home...xx 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🎗

Our unjustly jailed politicians are never forgotten. A sham trial will sentence them to long years in prison for letting us vote. The Catalan Republic will set them free, the Catalan people will. goes there every night to wish them good night.

The EU and it’s institutions need to wake up and fast to the actions of Spain. The silence and inaction in the face of neo-Francoist institutional thuggery is abhorrent.
