Classic stormy day ahead for our region this afternoon- this has prompted many NWS watches/warnings! What to expect: rain & gusty wind, 20"to 30" mtn. snow, king tides on coast with large breakers and minor flooding possible. Models now favor lowland snow by midweek!

IT'S SNOWING RIGHT NOW IN THE GORGE NEAR 1100 FT- Our Hood River Cam in White Salmon WA - is showing the flakes! The snow level will fluctuate this weekend.. rising to 2000> then back down to sea level next week. Snow chances increase for ALL of us next week.

I wore my raincoat into work today. You'll need one if you have one this weekend! Bundle up at mid-week, esp. if you don't have long hair! It gets really cold! Stay warm & make those potty trips short my friends!

Yikes. That was scary. A driver almost plowed right through the tape blocking off North Interstate during our live shot. We got an officer to light some new flares.

With stunning views like this near sunset in the Gorge, it’s hard to believe that it’s a major focus of ODOT crews as we enter the workweek! But we’re getting you ready for the ❄️ that might be coming these next few days

Weill, there's some snow for you in the Gorge. That's the Oregon side on your right, but still a gorgeous sunrise on this Monday, Jan. 13, 2020. No low elevation snow in the Valley, too warm!
