Success! I refilled a garden display at a library I was working at last week, and it was completely depleted when I came into work the following week. I replenished again, and by the end of the day, had to fill in several holes.

Added a new bird to my life list today a loggerhead shrike. In the last 3 days I have added 5 new birds. I also added; Black-bellied whistling duck, American Bittern, Tri colored Heron, and Muscovey Duck.

After over a month of no hiking and spending the last 3 1/2 weeks nursing a hamstring injury it was relaxing to do a 5.7 mile hike in the Franklin Mountains State Park with Gary Gauntner. With all the rain the red velvet mites are in abundance.
