This list of top target seats shows why I vote for leader tomorrow. Most targets are tory facing and Ed is better placed to winning them. That and the fact he’s a caring approachable person with tons of experience.

"I'm passionate about parish & town councils, who are doing fantastic work!" Great to hear speak so positively about the efforts of those of us who represent the party on parish & town councils. Ours is the most local form of government after all.

peers are working hard to force government to deliver on their manifesto pledges on food standards. Write to your MPs and local Tory associations. Insist they don’t allow our food be decimated by poor quality imports.

Love what just happened. Ed says he thinks a Council Leader should get a key note speech at Conference. To then be told that ALDC put in a pitch for just that and were refused by the party. Awks!

Shame on 's campaign and, as head of it, Mr Davey should discipline those responsible for this, offer a fulsome apology to his opponent's campaign and the party, and then seriously consider if he should still be a candidate in this leadership election.

Having this week re-joined , I'm looking forward to the local government leadership hustings it's hosting along with this evening. I very much hope that the work of Lib Dem parish and town Councillors will be recognised.

Just voted for to be the next leader of the Liberal Democrat’s. As a young liberal councillor, we need someone who has the unique vision and ideas needed to break away from the past and build our party back up. Layla is the leader to achieve that.
