The Current teacher recruitment process tests only how much could the examinee cram. Interview and Classroom Demonstration are better tools to assess motivation and passion of a budding teacher. Could teaching books only decide who is a good teacher?

I remember the day when we were trained at Delhi Secretariat on usage of social media, I was not so receptive but when I started sharing my practices and viewing others it brings me to another world. When my students are being seen globally, I feel motivated

Students R mirrors with soul! They will receive & reflect back D feelings with many folds. Being a teacher keep smiling in your class & you will see smiling faces looking forward to you. Same goes with any other emotions/feelings/ gestures

We need to create an “inquiry culture among teachers”—who are supported to conduct research on their teaching and to continually revise their teaching strategies in response to what they learn and motivate them to exhibit “growth  mindset”.

Drastic changes in question paper design in grade 9-10 Science for the present batch. 10 MCQs find place once again in new design besides 10 one mark questions. Hope all stakeholders find these changes beneficial.

For teacher training, the existing B.Ed. programme will be replaced by a four-year integrated B.Ed. programme that combines high-quality content, pedagogy, and practical training. This type of move is really required.
