So I complete another work activity, phone calls etc. I turn around and find my daughter who has independently assembled lunch for everyone - made a P&J sandwich with crust off, left over chicken balls and sauce, apple slices and honey, and cucumber slices.

So thrilled (as you can tell due to the fact I'm marking this on the first day of half term πŸ˜‚) with the low screen activity by my Y8 pupils this week - lots of them put a huge amount of effort into the task and it looked like whole families were involved!!

Our children have created lovely art work with the craft packs that we sent out. So many exciting pictures exploring shape, colour and lots of different textures. Lovely to see our children expressing their ideas in such a colourful way.

New math game invented by 6yo: take Daddy’s dice and spread them on the table top. Whichever one the cat knocks off the table first goes to player A, the next to player B, etc. Take the highest number on each die and add all of them up for your score.
