Great news: Efrén Divided was included in the Chicago Public Library’s Best of the Best books of 2020! Each year they recommend titles that are the very best fiction books published in 2020 for kids in 4th through 8th grades.

I love this particular observation about fighting for stage directions from playwright Isaac Gómez in latest magazine (roundtable discussion on that topic). Gómez addresses the importance of his directions vis-à-vis narratives.
