The lowering of BG is never linear. There are bumps in between. But the progress is seen with a good trend line. Imagine this was advised just 20 days back But now eliminated SU also 117mgdl is a big success for now

I keep hearing that is genetic. The way you were taught to eat by your parents is hereditary, not genetic. Evolution of our genetics is towards insulin resistance and fat storage at times of plenty. Problem is there is too much plenty.

Covid-19 has forced us to have virtual conferences, which gets science to a larger audience than in-person. I shared info on LDL/statins to 3000 ppl! After my talk, most statin users questioned the value of statins. That's progress. Thnx to & Neisha for hosting

Dinner tonight is a throw it all (mushrooms, onions, garlic, chilli, tinned tomatoes, herbs, seasoning) in the wok night, top it with crispy landons of bacon, top that with fresh parmasan and black pepper. You can't top that! Feet up and a bit of light reading

As a carb addict you will ALWAYS remain an addict. I've just been reminded the hard way. One slice of cake has taken far too many days of struggle to get back on track. You can't have just one bite of cake anymore than an alcoholic can have just one drink. ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ

Fearful of COVID? Consider cutting your carb intake. I'm 50, I do Crossfit, I'm getting stronger...& my diet is VERY low carb.
