Three groups, one on Atkins, one on South Beach and one on Ornish. Atkins group got worse biomarkers for atherogenesis and insulin resistance, specifically higher BCAA levels and higher TMAO. worsened vascular health and caused insulin resistance.

Could coffee be sabotaging your goals ? I don’t know. We know there’s nothing harmful about moderate coffee. But ask yourself this. Do you like just black coffee ? If not then it’s not coffee that you like, it’s a concoction that includes coffee. Food for thought.

, hands down, has proved to be the most effective & doable diet for me. Second month in, I’ve lost 22 pounds/10kgs, I eat properly, I’m never down on energy, I have options when I eat out, I have completely cut on sugars and carbs over all & my tastebuds are having a blast!

So I haven’t made a big deal out of this but since February I’ve been doing Keto and so far have lost 97 lbs. I’m still not to my initial goal yet of 250 lbs but considering I was 357 lbs I think I’ve made some good progress.
