EDIT: An unseasonably nice (yester)day down at Hutchinson's Bank with members of London Wildlife Trust's '' team. We were helping to maintain the chalk grassland habitat in order to promote butterfly diversity at the site!

The youth clubs at have been feeding the wild birds regularly since September 2018 for their project. Today they made fat balls with meal worms for blue tits, robins, house sparrows & great tits!

The Young Farmers' learning stand had magnifying glasses, a bird song podcast, ID guides & binoculars. At the craft table children painted nest boxes & made clay birds. Children also played hook a duck, bird bingo, bird solitaire, top trumps & pairs!

The Get Farming Club found a tadpole with legs in the wildlife garden last week and this week found a froglet. The children have been making habitats for amphibians and it's great to see their hard work paying off!
