At 5,269 feet, (Penobscot for “Greatest Mountain”) is Maine’s highest mountain. It is known for its rugged hiking trails, notably the Knife Edge, a narrow, mile-long ridgeline of rubble. 📷 , from our 2020 Maine Wall Calendar. ➡️

I hiked Mt. for the first time Saturday. We had to begin descent 1 mile from the summit on the final plateau in order to meet our ride on time, but the fact that I made it to the top was an incredible feeling. Time to prep for next yr!☝️Hunt Trail, 👇Abol.
