Imagine if a British diplomat’s partner murdered an American teenager on American soil. They wouldn’t have left the country.

Feeling cute, Might travel to the US, murder someone by dangerous driving, claim diplomatic immunity and get protected by my government to not face charges in the country I committed the crime. Idk

As a minimum UK should refuse all future US extradition requests until this one is agreed.

Nobody is above the law, you can't just kill a young man in another country and then fly back home as if nothing happened. Disgraceful.

Anne Sacoolas is a gutless women. One day her children will grow up realising that their mum killed a young man & hid behind her husband to get away with it. Shame on her & shame on the USA and for letting her get away with it 😡

The thing that keeps going round my head with the Harry Dunn case is how the family wanted a suspended sentence so she wouldn’t be taken away from her children. They showed compassion towards their son’s killer, and she repays them with this nightmare.

I think this is one of those times when our 'special relationship' with the U.S. is shown for the sham it always has been.

The whole point of the USA being in the UK, not least that particular base, it to "protect freedom & citizens" so the USA's stance on extradition of this person seems to contradict that somewhat. 1 rule for them, 1 for the rest of us. Special relationship my arse

What type of country allows diplomatic immunity when’s someone takes an innocent life & flees back to America not taking responsibility or accountability for their actions. Anne Sacoolas is a disgrace with no conscience or moral compass Trump is a disgrace too!

Does she not realise how guilty she looks? When her time comes and she is forced to take the stand, a jury will buy none of her crap .

We all know what Trump would be doing if it was the reverse. A guilty conscience is worse than a prison cell. Harry's family asked for her to be given a suspended sentence in compassion for HER children, after she left their's to die. Karma never loses an address

How this case isn't bigger news is beyond me, Americans should be outraged that a woman was allowed to mow down and kill an innocent young man and then fly back to the US and get on with life as if nothing happened even having the gaul to carry on driving...

Want to murder someone? Just marry a US diplomat, make sure you are a US citizen, flee the country before you get caught and then claim immunity as it was an "accident". What a fu*ing joke of a Government America has.

Until hearing of the Harry Dunn case, I had no idea of what diplomatic immunity was or that it even existed. I still cannot get my head around it existing even after educating myself on why it does.

If Anne Sacoolas had an ounce of a conscience she would return to the UK and face the music. The extra pain she is putting Harry’s family through is horrendous. Utterly heartless.

Appalling decision by the US Government and breathtakingly arrogant. They should lead by example. Family of the late Harry Dunn should now start a private prosecution.
